About the Role
The Junior Cloud Ops Administrator helps support the day-to-day management of cloud infrastructure. This includes monitoring systems, assisting with basic automation tasks, helping manage resources, and supporting issue resolution to keep operations running smoothly and securely. Reporting to the Cloud Ops Leader, the employee will support cloud operations activities by following established guidelines, standards, and best practices. This role requires good attention to detail, a willingness to learn, and an understanding of cloud environments. Working closely with the team, the employee will help with projects that use modern cloud technologies, assisting in tasks such as configuring environments, monitoring systems, and supporting the deployment of web applications.


Key Position Responsibilities Include:

  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Assist in setting up and configuring cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Oracle).
  • Manage user access (IAM).
  • Assist in monitoring platform performance, alerts, and events.
  • Create and update documentation for processes, procedures, and incidents.
  • Provide technical support and assistance to users.
  • Begin to develop skills in scripting and automation to improve operational efficiency.
  • Engage in self-study to learn about new technologies and best practices.
  • Assist in monitoring cloud infrastructure (Azure) and reporting issues.
  • Help implement cloud configurations following team guidelines.
  • Support routine backup activities and learn recovery procedures.
  • Follow security and privacy standards when working on tasks.
  • Help troubleshoot cloud services by gathering information and escalating when needed.
  • Work closely with R&D to support ongoing cloud initiatives.

Required Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
  • Fluency in spoken and written English is required.
  • Familiarity with Azure cloud services and concepts.
  • Exposure to scripting (PowerShell, Bash, etc.).
  • Basic understanding of networking fundamentals and identity concepts.

Desired Skills:

  • Hands-on practice with Azure services.
