About the Role

The Product Owner is a key member of the Cyncly’s large, international Research & Development organization. The Product Owner is responsible for transforming the strategic product roadmap into clear, significant, high-quality specifications for software development. The Product Owner is also deeply involved in planning, prioritization, and assurance of a clean and well-groomed product feature backlog. As a true expert in the uses, features, and detailed behaviors of Cyncly’s software products, the Product Owner takes personal pride in assuring that Cyncly delivers on its promise to delight our customers with outstanding, one-of-a-kind software solutions.

  • Partner closely with Product Management to align day‑to‑day R&D activities with the long‑term product strategy.
  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog to ensure alignment with the roadmap.
  • Write clear, complete, and detailed user stories, including well‑defined acceptance criteria.
  • Break down features into manageable stories, including spikes and technical tasks.
  • Support story grooming, feature decomposition, and estimation activities.
  • Collaborate with Scrum Masters and Engineering teams for sprint planning and sequencing.
  • Work with Developers and QA to clarify requirements and ensure accurate implementation.
  • Participate in and support all standard Agile ceremonies (standups, sprint reviews, retros, PI planning, etc.).
  • Ensure all work items meet the Definition of Done.
  • Stay on the leading edge of development practices.
  • Drive clean, efficient sprint execution by managing scope, priority, and specification of clarity.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination across global stakeholder groups.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts with data‑driven insights and process feedback.

Essential Skills – apply only if you possess:

  • Bachelor’s degree of higher in Computer Science or other related fields.
  • Requires a minimum of 10 years of experience in software development and 3 to 5 years of Product Owner experience within Agile or SAFe Agile environments.
  • Exposure to CAD/CAM domain is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of Scrum and Kanban methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to form effective, respectful working relationships, and to serve as trusted advisor to different stakeholder groups.
  • Strong understanding of the full product development lifecycle and product management processes.
  • Proficient in Agile backlog management tools such as Azure DevOps / Azure Boards.
  • Familiarity with spatial design concepts, especially in regard to building spaces such as offices, kitchens, bathrooms, etc.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A team player with genuine passion for quality and excellence.
  • Experience with AI tools for accelerating requirements and feature definition is an advantage.
