About the Role
As a Solution Architect within Professional Services (KBFr), you will own the end-to-end solution design for enterprise and mid-market customers implementing our cloud-based space planning and design platforms. These solutions integrate with SaaS platforms, eCommerce, Order Management, CRM systems, and content ecosystems.
You will act as the technical and functional authority across customer engagements, translating business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performing solution architectures.
Working closely with Business Analysts, Developers, Project Managers, and customer stakeholders, you will ensure solution integrity from discovery through deployment while guiding clients toward best-practice architectures that balance customization with long-term maintainability.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead architectural discovery sessions with customer stakeholders to understand business objectives, system landscapes, and integration requirements
• Design and document end-to-end solution architectures across SaaS platforms, APIs, middleware, CRM, eCommerce, and Order Management systems
• Define data flows, system boundaries, integration patterns, and security considerations
• Produce architecture documentation including diagrams, data models, and interface specifications
• Ensure solutions are scalable, performant, and maintainable over time
• Provide architectural oversight across multiple implementation projects
• Review technical deliverables to ensure alignment with defined architecture
• Guide configuration and integration decisions across delivery teams
• Identify risks early and propose mitigation strategies
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to enterprise customers
• Present solution architectures to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Support proposal development and pre-sales activities with architectural expertise
• Collaborate with Business Analysts to translate requirements into architectural components
• Partner with Developers to ensure accurate implementation of architectural designs
• Support testing strategies and validation of integrated solutions
Required Experience & Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in Solution Architecture, Technical Consulting, or Enterprise Software Implementation roles
• Strong knowledge of cloud-based SaaS architectures
• Experience with API integrations including REST and web services
• Experience with middleware and integration frameworks
• Strong understanding of data modeling and system interoperability
• Experience leading enterprise-level software implementations
• Ability to produce high-quality technical documentation and architecture diagrams
• Strong understanding of application and infrastructure planning
• Experience working with multi-system ecosystems such as CRM, eCommerce, ERP, or OMS platforms
• Excellent time management and prioritization across multiple projects
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken
• Availability for occasional travel to client locations
• Experience using AI tools to support productivity and solution design
Preferred Experience
• Experience with 3D design, space planning, or visualization software environments
• Experience within the Kitchen, Bath, or Furniture industries
• Exposure to enterprise security and compliance practices
• Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM ecosystems
• Experience working with globally distributed delivery teams
