About the Role
As a Finance Operations Specialist, you will support Cyncly’s global Finance organization by ensuring accurate financial data, reliable accounting operations, and strong system hygiene across PSA/ERP and finance platforms.
This role sits at the intersection of accounting execution, operational discipline, and cross-functional collaboration. You will support recurring accounting processes, maintain data integrity across systems, and work closely with Finance, Revenue Operations, and Professional Services teams to ensure accurate reporting and clean financial records.
Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, comfort working with systems and data, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, global environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Support day-to-day accounting activities including transaction processing, reconciliations, accruals and variance analysis
• Assist with month-end and quarter-end close activities ensuring timelines and quality standards are met
• Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with company policies and accounting standards
• Maintain financial and operational data accuracy across PSA/ERP systems such as Certinia and related finance tools
• Ensure timesheets, project records and billing data are complete, accurate and submitted on time
• Validate billing and revenue data to support accurate invoicing and reporting
• Prepare recurring financial and operational reports related to revenue, utilization, backlog and costs
• Perform reconciliations between operational systems and core finance platforms
• Identify and escalate data inconsistencies or process gaps with clear documentation
• Collaborate with Finance, Revenue Operations and Professional Services teams to resolve data issues
• Support audits and internal reviews by providing documentation, reconciliations and system extracts
• Contribute to process improvements and documentation of accounting workflows
Required Experience & Qualifications
• 2–5 years of experience in accounting, finance operations, or shared services roles
• Working knowledge of accounting fundamentals including revenue, accruals and reconciliations
• Experience working with ERP or PSA systems, preferably Certinia or Salesforce-based tools
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain clean and accurate data
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with reports and datasets
• Ability to collaborate with global teams across different time zones
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage recurring deadlines
• Clear written and verbal communication skills in English
• Experience supporting Professional Services or project-based accounting environments is a plus
• Exposure to revenue recognition concepts and billing workflows is a plus
• Familiarity with BI or reporting tools is a plus
• Experience working in a global, multi-entity organization is a plus
