About the Role
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for acquiring new customers for FeneVision across the EMEA region primarily focused on Glass. This role focuses on identifying, engaging, and winning new enterprise and mid-market fenestration manufacturers by aligning their business challenges with FeneVision’s ERP and software solutions. You will work closely with Account Management, Sales Engineering, Marketing, and broader regional teams to drive scalable, long-term growth while ensuring a seamless transition from sales to implementation and account ownership.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities across the EMEA fenestration market
- Engage with mid-market to enterprise-level window, door, and glass manufacturers
- Achieve agreed new business revenue targets
- Conduct market mapping, territory planning, and account-based prospecting
- Lead discovery conversations to uncover operational, commercial, and technology challenges
- Collaborate with Marketing on regional campaigns, events, and lead generation initiatives
- Manage complex, consultative sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders
- Deliver impactful product demonstrations and executive-level presentations
- Represent FeneVision at industry events, trade shows, and conferences
- Ensure effective handover of new customers to Account Management and Implementation teams
- Maintain clear, customer-centric communication throughout the sales process
Required Skills/Experience
- 3–5+ years of experience selling to or working within the fenestration (window, door, glass) or other like industries
- Proven success selling complex B2B or enterprise software solutions with long sales cycles
- Demonstrated experience engaging C-level and senior decision-makers
- Strong consultative selling, relationship-building, and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- High level of commercial acumen and comfort discussing ROI, business cases, and transformation initiatives
- Strong interest and aptitude for technology and enterprise software
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to explain complex solutions clearly
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced, and evolving environment
- Coachable mindset with a willingness to learn and continuously improve
- Bilingual proficiency required (English plus at least one additional European language)
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Construction, or a related discipline
- Experience with ERP, estimating, manufacturing, or production software
- Experience selling into multi-site or project-driven manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with digital transformation initiatives within industrial or manufacturing organizations
