About the Role:
Join a world leader in Cloud based software solution for the Space Designing industry. As a QA Engineer, you will work on the Flex Platform, a cloud platform with business and core components connecting all Cyncly applications and products (Modular Web application, with Micro Frontends (in Angular 2+), and Micro Services (.NET Core), reading and writing in SQL Server databases, and Azure Blob storages. Hosted in Azure Cloud as Azure Function Apps).
Key Position Responsibilities Include:
- Independently collaborate with Product Experts/Testers to understand the tests to be automated and the related functionality.
- Rapidly develop Automated Tests and streamline their execution as per the established/evolving workflows.
- Actively Maintain Automation Scripts in case of functional behavior/test data changes.
- Debug failures related to Automation Tests and report the defect(s) in case of application failure(s).
- Develop/Contribute to assigned Automation Framework Design/Enhancements tasks if applicable.
- Document and share automation knowledge with the team as per the requirement.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer OR IT-related courses.
- 5+ years of demonstrated working experience as an Automation QA engineer with following Automation skills.
- Automation Skills.
- UI Automation (P1), API Automation (P2).
- Coding experience with JavaScript, Selenium, GIT, Azure DevOps, Tools like WebdriverIO/WebdriverJS/Cypress.
- Proficient in C# and the .NET ecosystem.
- Strong experience in API testing using xUnit.net.
- Understanding of Chrome Dev Tools.
- Experienced in implementing/Exposure to various Test Automation concepts such as Page Object Design Pattern, Unit Testing. frameworks like Mocha and its features, Parallel test execution etc.
- Need to possess strong problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Experienced working in an agile environment as an important part of the team.
- Good communication skills in English language (spoken and written).
Good to have:
- Good working knowledge of CI-CD Practices with Azure DevOps or similar frameworks.
- Excellent analytical, technical, interpersonal, and organizational skills and be a good team player.
