Senior UX Content and Technical Writer

POSITION OVERVIEW
You’ll document products for security-related software. You’ll produce in-product microcopy, in-product help copy, notifications, error messages, technical documentation, and more. You’ll own several products and projects. Remote work is supported for this role, although we ask you to be in office once a week.

A seasoned and versatile writer to join a small but mighty team of product communicators who are on a mission to make the net safe for all.

YOUR STRENGTHS
You’re accountable for your craft. You produce on time. You’re innovative, creative, and you generate original, actionable ideas that you carry through. As a content author, you:
- Empathize with your audience and anticipate user needs.
- Iterate and collaborate: draft, ask, test, fail, and improve.
- Follow your curiosity to learn more about technology and how people consume it.
- Understand that your audience doesn’t read help docs as bedtime stories.
- Self-edit and maintain high standards for your output.
- Can juggle a few things at a time … like a bowling ball, a Rubick’s Cube, and a can of worms.
- And, importantly, you lead by example to inspire your peers to always create new and better products.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years of experience writing for product, engineering, or product design
- Education in UX, design, writing, or psychology preferred
- Example writing required
- Entrepreneurial, motivated, and a self-starter
- Committed and enthusiastic communicator
