We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented CPQ QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance, with specific experience in testing CPQ software solutions. The CPQ QA Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our CPQ platform, contributing to the delivery of high-quality software to our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Test Planning and Strategy:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and CPQ software specifications.
  • Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies to ensure thorough testing coverage.
• Test Execution:
  • Execute test cases, scenarios, and scripts to validate the functionality of CPQ software modules.
  • Perform regression testing to identify and address any potential issues arising from software updates or modifications.
• Automation:
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts for CPQ software components to streamline the testing process.
  • Identify opportunities for test automation and implement automated testing frameworks.
• Defect Tracking and Reporting:
  • Document and track defects, issues, and anomalies discovered during testing.
  • Provide detailed and clear reports on test results and participate in defect resolution discussions.
• Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product managers to understand business requirements and ensure alignment with testing efforts.
  • Participate in cross-functional team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Performance Testing:
  • Conduct performance testing to assess the scalability and responsiveness of the CPQ system under different conditions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in Q/A role.
• Proven experience in quality assurance, with a focus on testing CPQ software solutions.
• Strong understanding of CPQ processes and configuration principles.
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright or other UI test automation tools).
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Detail oriented and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Salesforce & CPQ platforms such as Apttus CPQ, Salesforce CPQ, or other similar solutions is a must.
• Experience with API testing and integration testing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Certifications in software testing or CPQ-related certifications are a plus.
