Job Summary

As the VP FP&A, you will oversee the financial health and strategic direction of the company by managing the Profit and Loss (P&L) and Cash Flow to achieve key metrics. You will lead core financial processes such as long-range planning, budgeting, forecasting, and month-end close while conducting in-depth financial analysis to optimize business performance. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare customer retention analysis and Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) views. A crucial aspect of your role will be to build and lead a high-performing finance team while establishing robust financial controls and compliance measures. As a key member of the Finance senior management, you will work closely with stakeholders to drive strategic and financial goals, including providing analysis and presentations for board meetings and engaging with the executive team and board of directors. Your responsibilities will also extend to financial diligence during M&A activities and implementing relevant policies and procedures as directed by senior leadership. Overall, you will play a pivotal role in creating a financial backbone and roadmap to support the company's hypergrowth trajectory. Location is open to US remote or Lehi, UT (Headquarters).

Responsibilities

  • Manage the company P&L and Cash Flow to ensure we meet and achieve all of our key metrics and ensure senior management has visibility into risks and opportunities.
  • Lead core financial processes including long range planning, annual budgets, monthly/quarterly forecasts and close.
  • Perform in-depth, comprehensive financial analysis and planning, including identifying, evaluating, and improving all key drivers of business performance. Optimize financial performance at multiple levels throughout the organization.
  • Prepare proactive reporting and analysis of key performance measurement indicators, revenue and expense drivers, and product line profitability.
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales and BI team to prepare customer retention analysis and ARR view.
  • Develop, retain, and hire a collaborative, effective, execution-oriented, and impactful team of A-players that can scale.
  • Create a financial backbone and roadmap that enables our continued hypergrowth.
  • Establish and document internal controls, policies, and procedures related to financial reporting and compliance.
  • Serve as a member of the Finance senior management. Continually partner cross-functionally to formulate and achieve our strategic and financial goals.
  • Create analyses, commentary, and presentation materials for Board meetings.
  • Communicate, engage, and interact with the Board of Directors and Executive Team.
  • Implement policies, procedures and processes as deemed appropriate by senior leadership team.
  • Responsible for financial diligence during M&A and coordination with respective stakeholders.

Requirements

  • BA/BS from top tier educational institutions; MBA, CFA and/or other relevant certifications are a bonus.
  • 10+ years of finance experience overall; 5+ years experience in a strategic financial leadership role for a high growth SaaS company.
  • Demonstrated command of SaaS metrics, KPIs, and business fundamentals.
  • Hyper growth SaaS experience strongly preferred.
  • Track record of working cross-functionally, partnering with team leads to deliver maximum business value.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate well with stakeholders across the business.
  • Passion for working in a fast-paced, ambiguous work context, where you can flourish with minimal guidance
