JOB OVERVIEW

As the Vice President of Engineering for Content Trust and Software Trust, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of digital security, overseeing the development and delivery of cutting-edge solutions for document signing, content provenance, and software supply chain security. You will lead a team of highly skilled engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence. Your expertise in software deployment pipelines and deep understanding of the software supply chain will be instrumental in ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of our products.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the engineering strategy and execution for DigiCert's Content Trust and Software Trust product categories, ensuring alignment with the company's vision and market needs.
  • Drive the development and implementation of robust CI/CD pipelines, optimizing for reliability, availability, and scalability.
  • Champion the security and integrity of the software supply chain.
  • Oversee the development of solutions for document signing and content provenance, ensuring they meet the highest standards of security and usability.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, encouraging the exploration of new technologies and approaches to solve complex challenges in digital trust.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Sales, Marketing, and Support, to ensure successful product launches and market adoption.
  • Attract, mentor, and retain top engineering talent, building a team capable of delivering exceptional results.
  • Manage the engineering budget, optimizing resources to achieve strategic goals and deliver value to our customers.
  • Provide mentorship to engineering teams, acting as a technical SME across departments.
  • Ensure continuous progress and smooth transitions throughout all product development lifecycles.
  • Stay up to date on next-generation technologies and present findings to leadership team.
  • Promote technical and operational achievement by developing measurements and methods for evaluation and advancement.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of professional experience in an engineering management/leadership role.
  • Strong expertise in CI/CD pipeline development and operations, with a deep understanding of automation, testing, and deployment best practices.
  • Extensive experience with software supply chain security, including familiarity with tools and practices for vulnerability management and code integrity.
  • Knowledge of document signing and content provenance technologies, with an understanding of the challenges and solutions in content trust.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and manage complex projects in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Strategic thinker with a customer-focused mindset and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Technical experience including Kubernetes, Containerization and NoSQL.
  • Proven ability to lead engineering leaders and teams.
  • Previous management experience and familiarity with agile software-development methodology is required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience with IoT device and embedded systems software supply chain, including familiarity with tools and practices for vulnerability management and code integrity.
  • 99.999% uptime experience.
  • Knowledge of PKI systems and infrastructure.
  • Experience working with Cryptography and highly secure cybersecurity environments.
  • Experience with AATL, Qualified signing, and other industry standard digital signature consortium.
