General Summary: Below is the framework for a newly created role within DigiCert’s Virginia office for an Office Assistant.

As the Office Assistant, you will serve to provide support to the senior management team with various business-related administrative and organizational activities, thus enabling them to focus more of their time on identifying opportunities for growth and expanding the success of the business.

Working Hours: Eastern Hours

Primary Objectives and Responsibilities:

  • Accepting and processing incoming mail, including scanning checks.
  • Handling business-oriented incoming mail, scanning, and sending to DigiCert.
  • Acting as the primary liaison to DigiCert for tax matters related to the DNS Trust business (Tiggee is the company that DigiCert acquired that is actually in the office).
  • Organizing small projects and social events such as customer meetings and appreciation mailings.
  • Facilitating staff needs including lunch, office announcements (ie. snow days), birthday reminders, and team-building initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Clerical Skills, solid knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Extremely high organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly
  • Ability to demonstrate Initiative
  • Time-Management skills and an ability to multi-task
  • Ability to demonstrate discretion and work within confidentiality
  • Have a strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities
  • Confident

  • Successful working both independently and collaboratively
