REPORTS TO: VP, Trust Operations

JOB DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW

The Trust Operations Manager will lead and oversee the Trust Operations team at DigiCert, ensuring the identification and mitigation of potential risks and threats through real-time log analysis and proactive security measures. They will leverage their expertise in security analysis and vulnerability management to enhance DigiCert's trust posture and ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND COMPETENCIES

  • Lead and manage a team of Trust Operations Analysts, providing guidance, training, and support
  • Oversee the analysis of security threats and incidents, ensuring timely and effective response and resolution
  • Manage and evaluate security alerts and detections, prioritizing actions based on risk assessment
  • Support Security Incident Response team by assisting in triage of potential incidents
  • Oversee the configuration, management, and maintenance of security-related software and systems
  • Stay abreast of emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends to inform strategy and decision-making
  • Evaluate new tools and technologies to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness
  • Participate in ongoing training and knowledge transfer with team members
  • Provide regular metrics, statistics, and reports to senior management on Trust Operations performance
  • Assess current practices and provide recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Ensure compliance with policies, standards, and regulatory requirements, providing audit support as needed
  • Set clear expectations for team members and provide ongoing feedback and performance evaluations
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, &/OR CERTIFICATION)

  • 5-7+ years of experience in security operations or related field
  • Advanced knowledge of security operations design concepts and principles
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in performing in-depth log analysis
  • CISSP certification or willingness and ability to obtain it if not already completed

PREFERRED QUALIFCATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Master’s degree in a technical discipline
  • 2+ years in a managerial or leadership role
  • Experience as point of escalation
  • Experience in Information Security
  • Experience with SIEM technologies, preferably Splunk
  • Familiarity with cloud-based identity providers, SSO, SAML, etc.
  • Experience with zScaler products and Web Application Firewall (WAF) technologies
  • Proficiency in vulnerability management software, preferably Tenable
  • Familiarity with endpoint detection and response software, CrowdStrike preferred
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Go, PowerShell, Bash, etc.
  • Designed, built, and implemented enterprise-class security systems
  • Experience with security, compliance, privacy frameworks and audits (e.g. ISO27001, NIST, GDPR, CCPA, WebTrust, SOC2)
  • Experience with Help Desk
  • Experience with reviewing contracts
  • Knowledge of penetration testing practices and principles
