Partner Account Manager


We’re looking for a Partner Account Manager to build and grow alliances with some of the world’s largest and most influential companies. The role will be accountable for developing a GTM Strategy in their territory to identify, acquire and grow relationships with DigiCert’s current and future Alliance Partners


  • Responsible for the sale of DigiCert products for current Japanese partners
  • Establish and develop business relationships with new partners.
  • To drive proper development activities to encourage specified partners by focusing on DigiCert core products.
  • Support and leverage other partner sales motions, field marketing, product launches and product campaigns as well as deep dive proposals of DigiCert products widely.
  • Keep current with our product release information including sales materials, product roadmap, features, applications, competition and disseminate to customers as appropriate, especially on the topic of lifecycle management tool for SSL/TLS certificates.
  • Continued achievement of indirect sales segments as per the defined business plan and formalized sales attainment targets
  • Create and analyze sales reports, identify issues contributing to success or shortcomings and take any corrective actions.
  • Perform business metrics reviews and analysis of top ranked partner’s performance on a quarterly basis so that proper action plans to be rolled out in a timely manner.
  • Establish and maintain positive & proactive relationships with management people of partners to build mindshare and drive sales activities.


  • 5+ years work experience as Partner sales in IT industry
  • Experience in the technology and IT security market
  • Experiences and technical knowledge to develop Japanese SI partners
  • Mindset to control and manage high volume of transactional deals
  • Strong technology /software sales background
  • Excellent communication skills – written and spoken with management level of customers, and internal cross-functional teams to work closely together
  • Ability to manage both C-level and director level of customers
  • Strong negotiation skills
