Job Summary

This team member would oversee the accounting for Digicert’s owned India entity. Including month end close processes, audit preparation and coordination, and other tasks as assigned. This team member will also oversee accounting efforts as requested by in-region accounting teams across the world. Supporting these teams would include activities such as data entry, journal entry creation, general ledger and subledger reconciliations. Reconciliations would be necessary to ensure the subledger details agree to general ledger balances. Maintaining records of payments including inter-company transactions.

This is a hybrid position.

What you will do:

• Lead a team of accountants who support regional accounting teams, by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships
• Understand our international organization and related reporting requirements of the various entities
• Provide support and manage team resources for various financial audits.
• Participate in the month-end close process through preparation and/or review of accounting entries and reporting for certain entities
• Assist with reconciliation of intercompany balances in the international entities, including researching, preparing and recording any necessary adjustments
• Perform and/or manage ad-hoc projects, as requested
• Assess current practices and procedures, and make recommendations for improvements

What you will have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; Master’s degree a plus
• 5+ years of experience in accounting
• Public Accounting experience, preferably with exposure to multi-national companies
• Industry experience involving international consolidations, foreign currency, I/C eliminations
• Experience with NetSuite or a major ERP product
• Strong computer skills are necessary, including Excel.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
• Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to interface with all levels of management.
