Job summary

DigiCert is looking for a talented, motivated candidate to join our organization. The Assistant Manager will act as a central hub for the Tax team in India.

What you will do

  • Assist in preparation and review of the annual statutory and US GAAP tax provision
  • Assist in preparing regional income tax returns
  • Assist in preparing regional VAT/GST returns and account reconciliations
  • Assist in regional tax matters related to acquisitions
  • Manage quarterly transfer pricing calculations for regional entities
  • Prepare or review income tax account reconciliations on a quarterly basis for regional entities
  • Assist with tax research, tax planning and other special tax projects, including modeling the impact of upcoming tax legislation
  • Identify and mitigate tax risk in assigned region

What you will have

  • Candidate should have a Degree in Accounting or Taxation, and have a minimum of 4 years of progressive tax experience
  • Familiarity with local rules related to statutory reporting for statutory accounts and tax returns (income and transactional)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally to solve tax and non-tax issues
  • Comfortable with local accounting principles and researching accounting information e.g. journal entries, AP and AR functions.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrate initiative and creativity, and have the flexibility to adjust to varied work assignments
  • Prior experience should include research and resolution of domestic and international income tax issues
  • Ability to work with a primarily remote team
