Valimail is seeking an Account Executive to help accelerate new logo acquisition on our Mid Market Sales team. You will assist in Valimail's overall growth by strategically engaging and closing net-new customers across small-to-medium size markets.You have a chance to join a fast-growing, revenue-generating, venture-funded startup with name-brand customers as we build a meaningful security category.
What you will do
- Own the Sales Lifecycle, from lead to close, with companies within the Mid Market space (250 - 10,000 employees)
- Identify and pursue new target accounts, maintain a high volume of revenue-driving activity
- Strategically map out and break into accounts in companies in the Mid-Market Segment
- Utilize solution and value-selling techniques along with overcoming objections to effectively guide sales processes to close
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams like Product, Marketing, Engineering, Customer Success
- Keep CRM system up to date with customer information, forecasts, and pipeline data so we can learn more about our business and our sales process
- Travel occasionally
What you will have
- 3+ years direct Sales experience in SaaS
- Prior experience strategically selling directly to CISOs, CTOs or other executives within the IT/Technology infrastructure
- Self-starter, responsible for your own territory with experience building out your own territory plan
- Identify compelling value propositions that address customer needs
- Experience using our tech stack: Outreach, Salesloft, Gong, SFDC, ZoomInfo
- Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate highly technical concepts to a technical audience
Nice to have
- Cybersecurity or email security experience
- Sales training such as: MEDDIC, Command of the Message

- Competitive pay + participation in employee stock option plan. The anticipated base compensation for this role is $90,000 - $100,000 and has a variable (commission) component anticipated at $90,000 - 100,000. Exact pay is commensurate to experience.
