Job summary

We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Business Partner to-be-based in our office in Cape Town. As a Talent Acquisition Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and attracting top talent to join our organization. You will collaborate with hiring managers and HR teams to define staffing needs, develop effective recruitment strategies, and manage the full recruitment lifecycle, ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience. Your focus will be on sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selecting the most qualified candidates while upholding our company's CARE values and culture. The Talent Acquisition Partner will be responsible for hiring across EMEA (Europe and South Africa) and will sit within the EMEA Talent Acquisition team.

What you will do

  • Collaboration: Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop tailored recruitment strategies. Work cross functionally partnering with HR, Total Rewards, and FP&A partners.
  • Sourcing: Utilize various channels, including job boards, LinkedIn, social media, networking, and employee referrals, to identify potential candidates. Proactively researches new recruitment methodologies and competitive intelligence to create innovative sourcing strategies. Conduct external benchmarking to understand DigiCert’s competitive recruiting landscape and influence best practices with team and stakeholders.
  • Candidate Screening: Review resumes, conduct initial phone screens, and assess candidates' qualifications and alignment with the company's CARE values and culture.
  • Candidate Management: Build strong relationships with candidates, prepare, coordinate interviews with candidates, understand candidate’s motivations for considering DigiCert opportunities and ensure candidate career aspirations match the opportunity.
  • Assessment and Evaluation: Administer relevant assessments or tests as needed to gauge candidates' suitability for the position.
  • Selection: Work with hiring managers to make informed hiring decisions, ensuring a seamless and efficient candidate selection process.
  • Offer Negotiation: Facilitate salary and benefits negotiations, presenting competitive offers to candidates.
  • Onboarding: Assist in the onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition for new hires into the organization.
  • Candidate Experience: Maintain excellent communication with candidates throughout the hiring process, providing feedback and updates in a timely and professional manner.
  • Data Management: We are a data driven talent acquisition engine. We use performance metrics and data to identify areas of improvement in the recruiting process. You should be able to make data-driven process improvement suggestions. You will maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system, Greenhouse (ATS).
  • Compliance: Ensure all recruitment and hiring practices comply with labour laws and regulations.
  • Talent Pipelining: Develop and maintain a talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
  • Process improvement: Seek continuous improvements to enhance the process's capabilities; implement positive changes by overcoming resistance to change. Manage ad-hoc projects to support continuous improvements and the transformation of the Talent Acquisition department at DigiCert.

What you will have

  • 3+ years of related talent acquisition experience.
  • Proven experience in talent acquisition, hiring for Technology and Non Technology roles across the region.
  • Demonstrated experience using multiple creative sourcing techniques to identify niche skill sets. (LinkedIn, Indeed, Google or any other extensions)
  • Knowledge of HR policies, best practices, and legal requirements.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are important.
  • Ability to assess and evaluate candidates' skills.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and recruitment software.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Exceptional relationship management, critical thinking/problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
