Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cloud Engineer specializing in Microsoft Azure to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Azure services, a strong background in cloud infrastructure, and the ability to design, implement, and manage robust, scalable, and secure cloud environments. This role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative cloud solutions that meet business requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Implementation and Management:
    1. Deploy, configure, and manage Azure resources, including virtual machines, storage accounts, and networking components.
    2. Automate deployment and management tasks using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Terraform, and PowerShell scripts.
    3. Monitor and optimize cloud resources for performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
    4. Administer and maintain Windows Server 2012, 2016 and 2019.
    5. Perform backup and recovery operations for cloud resources.
    6. Work closely with development, operations, and other IT teams to integrate cloud solutions seamlessly into existing systems.
  • Active Directory and UAM:
    1. Configure and manage Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) for user authentication and authorization.
    2. Integrate Azure AD with on-premises Active Directory for single sign-on (SSO).
    3. Manage user access, permissions, and groups in Active Directory.
    4. Configure and manage Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).
  • Security and Compliance:
    1. Ensure that all cloud solutions comply with security policies and best practices.
    2. Implement and manage identity and access management (IAM) policies and roles within Azure.

Required Skills & Education

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, engineering, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Experience: 1 to 3 years of proven experience in cloud engineering, with at least 1 year focused on Microsoft Azure.
  • Certifications: AZ-900 or AZ-104

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with ERP software suite would be preferred.
