Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager, PMO, reporting to the Senior Director, PMO. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional project management and motivational change leadership skills, understanding of DMS and ERP systems, and will be able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced global environment prioritizing our clients and the Project Management team in line with our organization’s strategic objectives and core values. In this role, the candidate will have the opportunity to evaluate complex business challenges and develop impactful solutions by standardizing and improving scalable project management processes, influence cross-functional collaboration, and will continue to professionally grow as VitalEdge evolves. This is a US-Remote position with 25% of travel.
Responsibilities
- Leadership & Talent Development: Lead, develop, and mentor a team of project managers, ensuring they have the resources and support needed to succeed
- Project Oversight: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple DMS/ERP projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope and budget
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the main point of escalation for key stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and global internal teams, to ensure clear communication and alignment on DMS/ERP project goals
- Risk Management: Identify potential project risks, develop mitigation strategies and collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes
- Process Standardization: Design, implement, and optimize standardized processes across all projects to ensure consistency, efficiency, and quality in project delivery
- Performance Monitoring: Track and report on project performance metrics and KPIs, providing regular updates to senior leadership
- Resource Allocation: Ensure optimal allocation of project management resources across projects, balancing workload and priorities to meet organizational goals as well as escalating any resource allocation issues impacting the success of all DMS/ERP projects
- Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve project management processes and methodologies based on feedback from internal and external stakeholders to enhance efficiency, and effectiveness, improve client sentiment and support positive project manager experience
Required Skills & Education
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required
- Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification required
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing DMS/ERP or similar complex software implementations
- Skills:
- Strong “people first” leadership skills with the ability to implement creative talent engagement and retention strategies
- Ability to establish and maintain positive client relationships focused on improving client sentiment
- Ability to manage complex business operations and lead teams through transformational change management initiatives
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to develop and deliver presentations to stakeholders at various levels within the organization
- Ability to develop and strengthen internal partnerships with cross-functional teams in accordance with VitalEdge’s “one team” core value
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
