QA Engineer


The successful candidate must have solid understanding of web services, Java API, web application software across multiple browser platforms.

What you will do:

  • Contribute at the design, coding, and implementation level to creating and refining state of the art automation frameworks
  • Apply sound computer science practices to automate core API and/or Web functionality across platforms
  • Analyze and test B2B information systems, Oracle and SQL-based RDBMS, and multi-tier distributed applications utilizing J2EE, JMS, JMX, JavaBeans, EJB, Java, JavaScript, JSF, JSP, XML, and HTML
  • Validate applications E2E with different Database Management Systems – SQL Server and Oracle
  • Assume ownership for issues end to end
  • Performance, Reliability and Security testing.
  • Work with Agile scrum team to ensure the acceptance criteria is met

What you will bring:

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in Software development and testing.
  • Understanding of programming languages (ideally Java or C#) and SQL.
  • Understanding of web technologies: Java, HTML, XML and JavaScript and Web services and API’s.
  • Understanding of software development and test lifecycle
  • Experience in Test UI automation with exposure to tools like Selenium, JMeter, soapUI etc
  • Strong understanding and experience with cloud services preferably amazon web services
