Overview
Edifecs is seeking a Solutions Consultant to create and maintain relationships with key personnel at customer sites during the pre-sales phase to ensure successful solution positioning, selling and implementation of Edifecs technology. As a Solution Consultant at Edifecs, you will be responsible to manage the end to end pre-sales process, understand client requirements, recommend appropriate Edifecs solutions, and providing technical expertise throughout the sales process.
What you will do:

  • Team with sales executives and lead the technical sales process through including data gathering, product demonstrations and customer interactions to resolve complex business problems and drive new business.
  • Perform, customize and enhance demos for Edifecs solutions Including Encounter management, risk adjustment and EDI solutions
  • Independently perform hands-on Edifecs Smart Trading Product / Solution demonstrations, using virtual machines and cloud hosted environments, customizing the demo to address customer requirements and uniquely highlight Edifecs technology strengths
  • Communicate competitive solution/product differentiators to customer and the sales team.
  • Participate in the development of the business and technical strategy including RFI/RFP responses, sizing and architecture outlines
  • Communicate with other team members on a regular basis and provide product feedback and detailed new requirements to the Edifecs product management team
  • Keep up to date with any new Edifecs solutions. Understand Edifecs vision, market need, Edifecs solutions value proposition, Edifecs Platform architecture, functionality and interoperability between Edifecs components
  • Work closely with clients and internal teams to handover and ensure successful implementation of solutions.
  • Attend Conferences and position/pitch Edifecs solutions alongside Edifecs Sales team members
What you will bring:
  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, Healthcare Administration or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Strong Business and Technical understanding of Encounter management and risk adjustment processes for a health plan. Experience with Edifecs' products is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and must be comfortable interacting with technical and management stakeholders at customer organization
  • Relevant Experience of 5+ years in the IT & Healthcare industry, as a Solutions Consultant, Pre-Sales Engineer or related occupation
  • Familiar with EDI, EAI, EMRs, HIEs and other healthcare related technology
  • Good understanding of healthcare (payers and providers) with Knowledge of the healthcare workflows: revenue cycle, claims administration, and adjudication principles.
  • Must be passionate about learning new technology, product and how does it impact customers
  • Good understanding of sales cycles and know what to ask, what to research, how to prepare for a sales meeting and best present a solution
  • Understanding of Customer analysis and market research
  • Experience in effectively using any sales or CRM tools will be beneficial
  • Bachelor’s degree is required, any technical experience will be beneficial
  • Ability to interact with business and technical audiences.
Note: The expected base pay range for this position is $108,699 - $149,461 per year. Base pay offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, education, and experience.
