Associate SaaS Ops Engg - Intern

Overview

Seasoned Windows and Mac helpdesk support specialist with excellent communication and technical skills for supporting local and remote employees.

What you will do:

  • Build and deploy customer-facing SaaS environments using various automation tools like terraform, CloudFormation etc.
  • Support and manage incident management process (including Sev1\Sev2 escalations) and drive troubleshooting activity related to incidents/problems within SaaS infrastructure and applications.
  • Deploy, Build, maintain and provide support to development server’s and Java based application implementation.
  • Provide L1\L2 troubleshooting and support on (Windows, Linux) server management and server applications.
  • Manage and Enhance system and application monitoring, notification, and response across hosted environments.
  • Provide support to enterprise clients & internal associates related to technical and operational aspects of Edifecs’ SaaS solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal implementation, support, engineering & operations teams as well as customer contacts to drive troubleshooting/incident response activities for Edifecs’ SaaS environments.
  • Continuously improve troubleshooting skills, product expertise, and knowledge on related technical topics and train others
  • Practice on appropriate IT Security controls when working with sensitive data. Monitor adherence to IT Security controls & policies by associates working with Edifecs’ SaaS environments.
  • Develop and deploy checks and balances to proactively manage hosted applications on a daily basis.
  • Document workflows and standard operating procedures and manage knowledge-transfer sessions to ensure procedures are operational.

What you will bring:

  • Basic Knowledge of public cloud services & operations (AWS, Azure, other).
  • Initiative is a must; must be enthusiastic about learning new technologies/products and evolve effective ways for troubleshooting. Must be a team player and provide technical assistance to team when required.
  • Windows & Linux O/S knowledge
  • Python, Shell Scripting , bash scripting knowledge
  • Knowledge of relational databases (MS SQL Server, MySQL, other)
  • Knowledge of Java based applications, web applications etc.
  • Basic knowledge of networking would be an added advantage.
  • Scripting knowledge to write complex scripts to automate various workflows.
  • Ability to identify and clarify problems, set goals and able to resolve issues
  • Ability to work effectively on multiple tasks.
  • Ability to adapt to 24*7 work environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.
