Egnyte is looking for a Manager of Field Marketing to join our Growing Verticals go-to-market efforts. This is a high-impact, individual contributor role that sits at the intersection of strategy and execution—and at the forefront of defining where Egnyte grows next. You’ll be equally comfortable analyzing market signals to shape a long-term vertical bet and rolling up your sleeves to run the programs that bring it to life. You will work closely with our vertical leaders to design & implement the strategy for identifying and activating growing verticals.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Growing Verticals Strategy and Execution
- Finding the right focus: You’ll be the person who spots where Egnyte’s next wave of growth is coming from. Using data from Sales, Product Marketing, and external market signals, you’ll identify which emerging industries and account segments are trending up, then build a focused, targeted strategy around that subset to drive accelerated pipeline growth before those opportunities become obvious to everyone.
- Running the plan: Once the focus areas are identified, you’ll build and run the programs to activate them. This goes beyond tradeshows and hosted Egnyte events; you’ll partner closely with Sales and Sales Leadership to design niche, targeted programs like executive roundtables, industry-specific digital campaigns, intimate dinners, and account-based activations that meet buyers where they are and generate pipeline that actually closes.
- Working with the Channel: You’ll partner with our Channel team to find ways to use our partner network to expand our reach, so we don't always need an Egnyte employee at every single regional event.
- Event-in-a-Box: You’ll develop standardized frameworks that the whole team can use to keep our quality consistent, no matter who is running the event.
Driving Growth through Tech Levers
- Egnyte is investing in both our core tech stack- Splash, Cvent, Outreach, iCapture — and in AI tools that sit on top of it. You won't just be an admin of these platforms; you'll be the person who figures out where AI can cut the busywork, surface better insights, and help Sales move faster on the leads we generate. If there's a smarter way to run a program, we want you to find it.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience: You have 5-7+ years in Field Marketing and have operated as a strong individual contributor who can own strategy and execution end-to-end. You’ve built and run programs that drove real pipeline, and you know how to work cross-functionally without needing a team beneath you to get things done.
- A "Hub" Mentality: You’re great at centralized planning. You are the type of person who sees how all the moving parts of a multi-vertical team should fit together—and who naturally connects the dots between growth signals, field activity, and operational rhythm.
- A Systems Mindset: If you see a messy process, your first instinct is to understand why it’s broken and then build a template or workflow to fix it. You’re genuinely curious about operational inefficiency—not just tolerant of cleaning it up, but energized by it. You enjoy turning the chaos of field marketing into a repeatable, improvable system.
- Practical with Tech: You know your way around AI, Salesforce, event platforms, and tools like Outreach. You see them as tools to get a job done and a way to drive more growth.
- Great Communication: You can present a growth thesis to Sales Leadership and get buy-in on a niche program strategy, then turn around and personally execute every detail to make it happen. You build trust with Sales teams because you show up as a partner, not just a support function.
- Focus on Results: You’re comfortable with the numbers and how to play with data (including how to do VLOOKUPs, pivot tables etc). Terms like pipeline sourced, cost per op, and conversion velocity are part of your daily vocabulary.
