Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Value Stream Supervisor, located in Memphis, TN. The Value Stream Supervisor will oversee the daily production workflow, ensure that manufacturing processes are operating efficiently, and manage a team to meet production targets. The role involves monitoring key performance indicators, implementing process improvements, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Additional responsibilities include providing training to team members, resolving operational challenges, and coordinating with other departments to optimize manufacturing outputs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate electropolishing machines to process medical device components according to validated procedures
  • Prepare metal parts for electropolishing by cleaning and handling them properly to avoid contamination
  • Monitor and control parameters such as voltage, temperature, and time during the electropolishing process
  • Inspect finished parts for surface quality, smoothness and defect-free appearance
  • Maintain accurate records of production data, including batch numbers, process conditions, and inspection results in compliance with quality management systems (e.g. GMP, ISO, FDA)
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of electropolishing equipment to ensure optimal operation
  • Follow all safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Troubleshoot process issues and report equipment malfunctions or production delays
  • Collaborate with quality control and production teams to meet production deadlines and quality standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety guidelines
  • Other duties as assigned
