In a globally growing healthcare market, we are looking for a full-time Process Technician to strengthen our team in Memphis, TN.

The Process Technician will work within the manufacturing engineering team in different tasks such as technical support in: equipment/process, troubleshooting, process improvement projects to improve productivity and reduce scrap, mfg. area machine/process layouts, validation protocols execution, on the job training for operators, cutting tool tests, process cycle time studies and special tasks or projects. Provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Trouble shoots CNC machines, processes, and ancillary equipment. Performs and improves machine setup.
  • Assists on the job training of production staff.
  • Assists in process improvements to improve productivity
  • Executes, coordinates, and verifies data on validation protocols
  • Designs, prepares, repairs and improves fixtures
  • Assists in cycle time studies and special tasks or assignments
  • Runs tests with new equipment and assists in process and machine capability studies
  • Creates and maintains machine programs
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, adhering to all safety guidelines
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills

  • Knowledge on common manufacturing equipment and ancillary equipment to manufacturing (lathes, air compressors, automated equipment).
  • Knowledge in Lean, Blueprint reading, Measurement instruments and gauges
  • General knowledge in CAD software is preferred
  • Knowledge in GMP and ISO is a plus
  • Customer focus oriented
  • Strong interpersonal skills are a must with a willingness to be a team player
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Associate degree in a technical field such as Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Mechanic or 3 to 5 years of related experience.
