Job Role

Fairstone Financial Management is a Chartered Independent Financial Planning firm based in Sunderland and we are currently recruiting for a Sales Administrator to join our firm.

Working collaboratively with Financial Advisers and other colleagues, you will assist in key financial administrative tasks. You will learn all aspects of the business and become a valued member of the team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a broad knowledge of financial products including both individual and employer pension knowledge, investments, and protection products.
  • Prepare annual review and meeting packs to assist the IFA/Client meeting process.
  • Provide assistance and updates to the client where required including documentation being returned and processed.
  • Liaise with various providers, gathering and correlating plan/policy information and ensuring a smooth and timely business process.
  • Create, maintain and manage a precise record of pipeline and submitted business in our back-office system Gateway in order to be able to update clients and Advisers accordingly.
  • Put together and issue to clients new business and annual review packs.
  • Process mortgage, protection, pension, and investment business, including completing and sending off application forms and progressing business through to completion.
  • Preparing client valuations and updating policy data.
  • Have a good understanding of the regulations and rules that govern financial services e.g. anti-money laundering, FCA requirements, money handling, complaints procedures, Data Protection (GDPR) and provision of Key Information Documents (KIDs).
  • Composing Letters of Authority and chasing providers for relevant policy information.
  • Fully understand the Fairstone compliance procedures in order to check all business files are compliant.
  • General Administration duties including filing, scanning, invoicing and post.
  • Answering calls promptly and in a professional manner.
