Job Role

Based at our Tunbridge Wells office, the Paraplanner will work with a Financial Adviser on a number of their non-client facing tasks involved in preparing and administering a Financial Plan or Report for a client. The Paraplanner will completes research and analysis of financial products for our clients, documenting the output in a report to ensure the client is getting the best advice and the adviser is getting the best support to help them advise the client.

A great Paraplanner will be meticulous and analytical, enjoy research and process-driven work and can source, analyse and summarise a great deal of information.

Given the nature of the role, you should be the type of person who revels in the detail and is an enthusiastic problem-solver.

Responsibilities

  • Report preparation, valuations, quotations, systems updating, providing all aspects of administrative support to provide smooth running of the services provided to clients and advisers.
  • Analysing the data, researching, and building recommendations.
  • Dealing with clients both on the telephone and face to face.
  • Dealing with complex cases, creating reports to accurately articulate the advice provided.
  • Researching, creating compelling, accurate and professional reports for clients.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Diploma in regulated financial planning.
  • Efficient in problem solving.
  • Ability to analyse information and data with a critical mind set.
  • Proven experience in decision making.
  • Ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Technically proficient.
