About the Role

As Project Management Lead, you will set the standard for project execution across all global regions while personally leading our largest, most complex client engagements, including large school groups and multi-school districts.

Implementing new school systems touches critical data, staff routines, and daily operations. In this hands-on leadership role, you will build and refine the frameworks, standards, and practices for a growing Project Management function. You will oversee regional Project Managers, mentor team members toward independence on enterprise-level work, and ensure every client experiences dedicated, structured, and seamless project delivery from kickoff to completion.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Function & Standards Ownership: Define and maintain global standards, methodologies, and best practices for scoping, resourcing, running, and closing projects across all regions.
  • Enterprise Delivery: Personally lead our highest-stakes and most complex client engagements, including multi-school group and district-level software implementations.
  • Framework Development: Build and standardize core project management artifacts, including Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), task-estimation models, formal sign-off documents, and handover protocols.
  • Team Leadership & Coaching: Guide regional Project Managers on high-risk projects and mentor team members to develop project leaders capable of leading teams across all regions.
  • Scope Governance: Enforce a rigorous sign-off process for enterprise projects across Sales, Services, and Support teams prior to project commencement.
  • Resource Optimization: Oversee global resourcing discipline and delivery timelines across concurrent projects, proactively resolving schedule conflicts.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Represent Project Management in cross-departmental strategy conversations to ensure commitments, handoffs, and scopes align with operational capabilities.

What Success Looks Like

  • Clear Project Accountability: Every customer-facing engagement maintains a named, accountable Project Manager throughout its entire lifecycle.
  • Rigorous Governance: Enterprise projects begin with fully documented, signed-off scopes and a clear audit trail.
  • Scalable Team Capability: Every operating region has at least one Project Manager equipped to independently run complex district or group-level engagements.
  • Accurate Frameworks: WBS templates and effort estimates hold up in practice with minimal variance across projects.
  • On-Time Execution: Personally led projects land on schedule, within scope, and transition smoothly to Client Experience and Support teams.
