This isn’t your typical marketing manager role.

You’ll be the chief storyteller and market maker for Fintech’s Scan-Based Trading (SBT) business, one of the most disruptive solutions reshaping retail supply chains. This is a rare opportunity to build awareness, shape perception, and drive measurable growth in a market that’s ready for transformation.

We’re looking for someone bold, strategic, and fearless — someone who can turn complexity into clarity and ideas into revenue. You’ll develop and own the marketing strategy, positioning, and narrative for SBT, working closely with sales and product leaders to drive meaningful pipeline growth.

Essential Functions:

Market & Strategy

    • Work hand-in-hand with sales and product to co-own and execute the go-to-market strategy for SBT — from defining target segments and personas to driving the tactical programs that generate measurable demand and revenue growth.
    • Translate business objectives into marketing strategies that generate measurable demand and pipeline.
    • Identify whitespace and market opportunities, bringing bold ideas to capture attention and drive action.
    • Partner with sales leadership to align marketing initiatives with revenue goals and growth priorities.

Storytelling & Content

    • Craft compelling narratives that connect deeply with decision-makers — telling the “why” behind SBT and its disruptive potential.
    • Write and oversee high-quality content across formats: website, blogs, whitepapers, case studies, thought leadership, and campaign copy.
    • Collaborate with internal creative and digital teams to bring campaigns and stories to life across the right channels.

Execution & Performance

    • Lead integrated campaigns from concept through measurement, leveraging digital, paid, and organic channels effectively.
    • Define, monitor, and report on key KPIs — lead quality, funnel conversion, pipeline contribution, and campaign ROI.
    • Test, learn, and iterate based on data-driven insights — with a bias for action and results.

Qualifications:

Experience & Skills

    • 7+ years of progressive B2B marketing experience, preferably in SaaS, fintech, or supply chain solutions.
    • Proven success driving demand and pipeline through content-led, persona-based marketing strategies.
    • Exceptional storyteller, able to simplify complex ideas and inspire action through words and visuals.
    • Deep understanding of modern marketing tactics including SEO/SEM, paid media, content marketing, and social.
    • Proficiency in marketing automation, CRM, and analytics platforms (HubSpot, Pardot, Salesforce, etc.).
    • Strong analytical mindset using data to guide decisions and optimize performance.

SBT Senior Marketing Manager Range: $90,000–$125,000 annually, depending on experience.

Fintech SBT (formerly Nexxus Group) is a division of Financial Information Technologies, LLC, (“Fintech”) a leading business solutions provider for the hospitality and retail industries. Fintech SBT is a leader in the scan-based trading segment of on-site retail. Retailers use scan-based trading when they require their suppliers to consign merchandise into their stores. Fintech SBT manages the retailer/supplier price book (the record of what retailers must pay their suppliers when merchandise is sold at retail). When a customer purchases the product at retail, the sales record is sent to Fintech SBT (most daily, some weekly). This information is integrated with the price book to determine the amount owed by the retailer and to the supplier. Fintech SBT creates invoices to retailers, receives payments from the retailers and then makes payments to the suppliers.
