Senior Manager Marketing & Communications

We’re looking for a Senior Manager Marketing & Communications. This is a unique senior role within our close-knit team, offering opportunities for you to identify, create, lead, and deliver effective marketing and communications activities. Your work will help engage, retain, and deepen relationships with existing clients, while also growing our client base across KiwiSaver and Managed Funds. You'll be responsible for ensuring that the often complex and technical aspects of investing are communicated in a way that is both engaging and easy to understand. In addition to this, you have the opportunity to make your mark at Fisher Funds by bringing your own creative flare to your work.
As our Senior Manager Marketing & Communications, no two days will be the same, but you can expect to typically be working across the following areas:
1. Developing and delivering marketing campaigns
- Develop and deliver marketing campaigns that promote our brand and educate clients.
- Collaborate with agencies and internal teams to deliver multi-channel initiatives.
- Support events, promotions, and referral programs with compelling communications.
2. Developing and delivering the client communication strategy
- Develop, lead and execute on our client communication strategy.
- Develop and oversee the delivery of regular communications that ensure clients are kept up to date with their Fisher Funds investments and that inform and educate to help clients achieve their ambitions.
- Regular and ad-hoc communications programmes that deliver value for clients and for Fisher Funds through identifying growth and retention opportunities.
- Work alongside the Marketing Automation Team to utilise our marketing technology to design & deliver personalised, data-driven communications at key points in the client journey.
- Ensure regulatory communications are delivered efficiently and effectively.
3. Content development
- Work with internal teams and agencies to create quality content that is engaging, educational and that supports the development of deep client relationships.
4. Leadership
- Lead and develop a team of 2/3 direct reports.
- Contribute to the development of a strong high-performance culture within the Fisher Funds teams which support client centricity and the Fisher Funds values.
- Develop a culture of continuous improvement, demonstrating exemplary leadership and achieving high standards within a supportive, results-focused environment.
- Work with colleagues across Fisher Funds to integrate and align communications plans and key messages.
What You'll Bring:
- Proven experience in marketing and communications (10+ years), ideally in financial services.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Ability to translate technical information into engaging content.
- Experience managing multi-channel campaigns and digital platforms.
- A collaborative mindset and a passion for delivering exceptional client experiences.
You will be the type of person who has a reasonable knowledge of financial matters and knows how to convey interesting and relevant messages to our clients to provoke interest, loyalty and dialogue.
