Product Business Analyst

About the Role:
As a Product Business Analyst, you’ll be at the heart of shaping and enhancing our KiwiSaver, Investments, Superannuation, and High Net Worth offerings. Working closely with Product Managers and cross-functional teams, you’ll drive product improvements that deliver real value to our clients and the business.
Your role will focus on analysing product performance and market trends, supporting strategic initiatives, and coordinating the delivery of enhancements. You’ll lead workshops to gather business requirements, produce clear documentation, and ensure the seamless execution of product changes. With a strong focus on stakeholder engagement, you’ll build trusted relationships across the business and help teams adopt new processes and solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive Product Analysis & Continuous Improvement
- Analyse product performance, client behaviour, and market trends to identify opportunities for enhancement across KiwiSaver, Investments, Superannuation, and High Net Worth offerings.
Support Strategic Product Initiatives
- Collaborate with Product Managers to develop and maintain product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with client needs, business goals, and regulatory requirements.
Facilitate Requirements Gathering & Documentation
- Lead workshops and discovery sessions to capture business requirements and produce clear documentation including functional specifications and use cases.
Coordinate Delivery of Product Enhancements
- Manage specific workstreams and initiatives, ensuring timely and effective delivery through cross-functional collaboration and proactive risk management.
Engage and Communicate with Stakeholders
- Build strong relationships across the business, maintain consistent communication, and support the adoption of new processes and product changes.
What We’re Looking For:
Analytical & Strategic Thinking
- Able to interpret data and trends to inform product strategy and continuous improvement.
Strong Communication & Documentation Skills
- Comfortable facilitating workshops and producing clear, detailed documentation for diverse audiences.
Project Coordination & Delivery Focus
- Experienced in managing workstreams and coordinating across teams to deliver outcomes.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Skilled at building relationships and driving collaboration across business units.
Regulatory Awareness
- Understands the regulatory landscape and its impact on financial products.
