About the Role
We’re looking for a data-driven, creative thinker to lead the delivery of our marketing automation efforts and help us build smarter, more personalised client experiences. This is a hands-on role where you’ll craft journeys that engage and retain our clients across KiwiSaver and Managed Funds. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery of our marketing automation strategy by supporting its strategic evolution and shaping automated journeys that support client acquisition, onboarding, engagement, and retention.
- Build and optimise automated journeys, triggered campaigns, and nurture programs across email, SMS, in-app, website and more.
- Be a power user of our Marketing Automation platform and create campaigns that are personalised, relevant, and measurable.
- Establish campaign performance benchmarks and reporting frameworks; test, learn, and iterate fast.
- Ensure data integrity, compliance, best practice and governance are adhered to.
- Champion continuous improvement - regularly review campaign and platform performance to identify opportunities for optimisation and innovation.
Skills & Experience:
- 3–5+ years of hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g. Marketo, HubSpot, Pardot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud).
- Strong understanding of customer lifecycle marketing, lead scoring, and behavioural segmentation
- Proven experience in marketing and communications, ideally in financial services.
- Experience building end-to-end multi-channel campaigns, including technical setup and performance reporting.
- Confidence with HTML, tokens, dynamic content, and APIs is a plus.
- An analytical mindset - you’re comfortable with data, dashboards, and making decisions based on insights.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills - you’ll work closely with stakeholders across the business.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
