About the role

The Salesforce Administrator is an essential role within our Digital Technology team, responsible for the day‑to‑day administration, security, and continuous improvement of our Salesforce platform.

You will play a key role in supporting strong user adoption by enabling safe, well‑designed Salesforce solutions that help our teams deliver exceptional, client‑centric service. This role works closely with Technology, Operations, and Client teams to ensure Salesforce is reliable, secure, and fit for purpose.

With a continuous improvement mindset, you will support configuration, automation, and approved AI capabilities within Salesforce, while ensuring strong data quality, access controls, and platform governance.

You will also help manage Salesforce seasonal releases, assessing potential impacts to our Salesforce environment, licences, and users, and supporting smooth, well‑communicated change.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the Salesforce platform is reliable and available during critical business periods
  • Support Salesforce best practice and platform standards to minimise unnecessary customisation
  • Administer Salesforce user access, roles, and permissions from onboarding through to offboarding
  • Maintain high standards of data quality, integrity, and usability across Salesforce
  • Support Salesforce configuration, automation, and approved AI‑enabled features
  • Monitor Salesforce seasonal releases and assess impacts to configuration, security, licences, and user experience
  • Support testing, documentation, and communication of Salesforce system changes
  • Partner with internal teams and delivery partners to support Salesforce improvements

Skills & Experience:

Core experience

  • Hands‑on Salesforce administration experience (Financial Services Cloud preferred)
  • Managing user access, permissions, security, and data loads
  • Working with diverse internal stakeholders and third‑party vendors
  • Comfortable supporting and owning critical Salesforce platforms

Technical knowledge

  • Understanding of Salesforce Financial Services Cloud
  • Exposure to Salesforce CI/CD practices, APIs, integrations, and messaging sessions
  • Familiarity with Agile/product development ways of working
  • Experience with Atlassian tools (e.g. Jira, Bitbucket)
  • Salesforce Administrator certification (or working towards)
