About the role:
As a Senior Business Analyst at Fisher Funds, you’ll play a key role in delivering strategic change across our digital, technology, and business transformation initiatives. Working across a diverse portfolio of projects, you’ll shape clear, high‑quality business and system requirements that support confident decision‑making and effective solution delivery. You’ll also identify opportunities for improvement, manage risks and dependencies, and help the business responsibly leverage emerging technologies such as AI.
This is a hands‑on role where you’ll act as a critical link between business stakeholders and technical teams, championing user outcomes from concept through to implementation. Working closely with Product Owners, delivery teams, and stakeholders across the organisation, you’ll support the successful adoption of new systems and ways of working, bringing a strong digital and product mindset that encourages thoughtful challenge, innovation, and effective use of AI alongside scalable, user‑centred solutions aligned with Fisher Funds’ strategy, technology landscape, and regulatory environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Business analysis & solution delivery
- Analyse and evaluate business processes, systems, and opportunities for improvement, particularly in digital and data‑driven environments
- Support end‑to‑end delivery across design, build, testing, UAT, cutover, and implementation
- Review delivery outputs to ensure they meet agreed acceptance and quality standards
- Identify opportunities where emerging capabilities, such as AI, could enhance processes or decision‑making
Partnership, influence & user‑centred delivery
- Partner across cross‑functional teams to align thinking, priorities, and outcomes, supporting the delivery of shared business and user goals
- Champion user experience and service design by embedding customer and end‑user needs into processes, solutions, and decision‑making
- Work closely with Product Owners and delivery teams to ensure solutions remain user‑centred, practical, and aligned to intended outcomes
Change adoption & business readiness
- Support business readiness activities to ensure new solutions are successfully embedded into day‑to‑day operations
- Contribute to change impact analysis, transition planning, and operational handover activities
- Help teams adapt to new systems, processes, and ways of working, including those introduced through automation or AI‑enabled tools
- Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in business analysis within financial services or a regulated environment
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into pragmatic solutions
- Experience with agile and digital product delivery, including user stories and acceptance criteria
- Demonstrated ability to assess, challenge, and support the responsible use of emerging technologies, including AI, to improve business processes, insights, and decision‑making within a regulated environment
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills across technical and non‑technical audiences
- Exposure to financial domains such as funds administration, custody, or registry is highly desirable
