About the role
As a Cyber Security Analyst, you will play a key role in safeguarding Fisher Funds’ technology environment by coordinating and supporting an organisation-wide cyber security programme. You will work across the business to identify, assess and manage information security risks, helping to ensure our systems, data and platforms remain secure and resilient.
This role sits within our Enterprise Technology & Security team and partners closely with stakeholders across the organisation to strengthen our control environment, support regulatory compliance, and align security practices with our overall risk appetite. You’ll contribute to building a proactive security culture, ensuring we continue to protect what matters most to our clients and our business.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support the delivery of the organisation-wide cyber security programme
- Identify, evaluate and report on information security and ICT risks across the business
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of security controls aligned to regulatory and compliance requirements
- Partner with teams across Technology and the wider business to promote secure practices and drive awareness of cyber risks
- Support the continuous improvement of the organisation’s control environment, ensuring it aligns with business risk appetite
- Contribute to security-related policies, standards, and documentation, including regular reviews and updates
- Engage with external vendors and partners to support security initiatives and ensure appropriate risk management
- Promote a strong culture of safety, wellbeing and accountability, including adherence to organisational health and safety expectations
Skills & Experience
- Experience in cyber security, information security, or IT risk management roles
- Strong understanding of cyber security principles, frameworks, and best practices
- Ability to identify and assess technology and information security risks and recommend appropriate controls
- Working knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements relevant to financial services or similar industries
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Experience contributing to or maintaining policies, standards, and documentation
- High attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and build effective working relationships
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, or similar) would be advantageous
