Data Insights Lead

We're looking for a Data Insights Lead to join our Digital Technology team and help drive better business decisions through accessible, trusted, and actionable insights.
In this role, you'll act as the key connection between business teams and our data function, helping stakeholders identify opportunities, solve problems, and unlock value through data. You'll lead the development of reporting and insights that support decision-making across the organisation, while driving data literacy and democratisation to ensure teams can confidently use data to achieve better outcomes.
We're looking for someone who enjoys partnering with stakeholders, turning data into meaningful insights, and leading initiatives that help teams make smarter, more informed decisions.
What you'll be doing:
- Acting as the primary point of contact between business teams and the Data & Insights function.
- Partnering with stakeholders to identify opportunities, solve business problems, and improve decision-making through data.
- Developing and delivering meaningful insights that support business performance and strategic objectives.
- Owning and enhancing the organisation's semantic layer and standardised reporting suite.
- Ensuring consistent, trusted reporting that serves as a single source of truth across the business.
- Building dashboards, reports, and analytical solutions that enable self-service access to data.
- Driving data literacy and supporting business users to become more confident consumers of data.
- Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and leading initiatives that enhance data capability across the organisation.
What we're looking for:
- Experience delivering business insights, reporting, and analytical solutions in a commercial environment.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build trusted relationships across business and technology teams.
- Experience translating business questions into practical data and reporting solutions.
- Strong understanding of data visualisation, reporting frameworks, and self-service analytics.
- The ability to communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- A proactive and self-directed approach, with the ability to identify opportunities and drive initiatives independently.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking capability.
- A passion for helping organisations become more data-informed and data-literate.
