In this role, you'll strengthen our cyber security capability through proactive monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, identity security, and security engineering. You'll work closely with internal technology teams and third-party providers to enhance security controls across our cloud environment and ensure they remain effective, resilient, and aligned with business objectives.

We're looking for someone who enjoys solving complex security challenges, responding to emerging threats, and continuously improving security across modern cloud and enterprise environments.

What you'll be doing:

  • Monitoring and responding to cyber security alerts, incidents, and threats.
  • Leading security investigations and incident response through to resolution.
  • Administering and optimising Microsoft Defender, Entra ID, Conditional Access, and Intune.
  • Implementing and automating security controls across cloud platforms, infrastructure, and endpoints.
  • Managing vulnerability assessments and coordinating remediation activities.
  • Strengthening identity security, privileged access, and authentication controls.
  • Supporting the cyber security roadmap, resilience activities, assessments, and audits.

What we're looking for:

  • Experience in cyber security, information security, or a related ICT role.
  • Hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR, firewalls, vulnerability scanners, and monitoring tools.
  • Experience securing Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS, or hybrid environments.
  • Strong knowledge of cyber threats, vulnerabilities, incident response, and security investigations.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks such as ISO 27001 and NIST.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to assess and prioritise security risks.
  • Clear communication skills, including translating technical risks for non-technical audiences.
  • A relevant qualification or equivalent experience, with CISSP or CISM certification advantageous.
