About the Role

As a Client Experience Consultant, you’ll be part of a busy, client-focused team supporting clients across phone, email and live chat, as well as managing the follow-up and administration that helps deliver a seamless experience.

No two conversations will be the same. You might help someone navigate a KiwiSaver first-home withdrawal, explain their investment options, provide financial advice, or help a client get more from our digital tools.

It’s a role that balances great conversations with getting things done. You’ll take ownership of client needs from the initial conversation through to follow-up, keeping accurate records and working with others across Fisher Funds when needed.

If you enjoy talking to people, solving problems and learning about financial services, this is a great opportunity to build your expertise while helping clients make better decisions for their financial future.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support clients across inbound and outbound calls, email and live chat, adapting your approach to what each client needs.
  • Take ownership of client queries, completing follow-ups and administration accurately and efficiently.
  • Aim to resolve straightforward client needs at the first point of contact, while setting clear expectations where further work is required.
  • Build strong client relationships, support retention and identify opportunities for further advice or support.
  • Help clients make the most of our digital and self-service options.
  • Work collaboratively across Fisher Funds to create a seamless experience for our clients.

Skills & Experience

You don’t need to know everything on day one. What matters is that you bring a willingness to learn, enjoy working with people and are comfortable being part of a busy client-facing environment.

We’re looking for:

  • Client service experience: Around 1–2 years in a client-facing role, ideally in banking or financial services.
  • Clear communication: You explain complex information in a way clients can understand.
  • Relationship skills: You listen, understand client needs and help them achieve their goals.
  • Commercial awareness: You recognise opportunities to retain clients and support business growth.
  • Attention to detail: You prioritise accuracy and compliance when providing financial advice.
  • Adaptability: You manage competing priorities and stay focused when things get busy.
  • Continuous improvement: You take initiative and look for ways to improve the client experience.
