Flexera is seeking a Product Owner to play a key role in shaping the strategy, development, and enhancement of our Unified Data Platform with Data Lake. This role will focus on driving analytics capabilities, ensuring platform excellence, managing data assets, and enhancing security within the platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Ownership: Act as the primary point of contact and authority for the Unified Data Platform, taking ownership of its vision, features, and roadmap.
• Analytics Focus: Drive the development of advanced analytics capabilities within the platform, enabling customers to extract actionable insights from their data.
• Platform Excellence: Ensure the Unified Data Platform maintains high standards of performance, scalability, and reliability as a robust data infrastructure.
• Data Management: Oversee the management, governance, and quality of data assets within the Data Lake, including data ingestion, transformation, and data security.
• Security Enhancement: Collaborate with security teams to implement and enhance data security measures within the platform, ensuring data privacy and compliance.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, data science, cybersecurity, and other teams to deliver high-impact features and capabilities.
• Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies related to data analytics, data lakes, and security.
• Customer Engagement: Engage with customers to understand their needs, gather feedback, and prioritize features and enhancements that drive customer value.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; additional certifications or advanced degree preferred.
• Proven experience (5+ years) as a Product Owner or similar role in a data-focused environment.
• Strong understanding of data platforms, analytics technologies, data governance, and security best practices.
• Experience in software asset management, IT asset management, or related domains is a plus.
• Proficiency in agile development methodologies and product management tools.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a global environment.
