Job Summary

The Accounts Payable Specialist manages bill pay and settlement support processes, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and financial records. This role supports daily accounting operations, communicates with clients, and maintains organized financial data while leveraging tools like QuickBooks Online and Bill.com.

Bill Pay

• Manage full-cycle bill pay processes for clients
• Enter bills into Bill.com and generate unpaid bills reports in QuickBooks Online
• Communicate with clients regarding invoices and payments
• Print and distribute checks and invoices, including remote check setups

Settlement Support Process

• Download and review statements
• Ensure accurate accounting of all final payments, including advanced client costs
• Complete all tasks necessary to close out cases

General Accounting

• Support general accounting functions and assist the Accountant
• Maintain accurate financial records
• CRM maintenance and related administrative tasks

Desired Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• 1+ year of accounts payable experience preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with QuickBooks Online and Bill.com highly preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Client-focused, collaborative, and process-oriented
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently
• Comfortable learning and using administrative and financial systems

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift 10 pounds occasionally.

Schedule

• Full-time, 8-hour shift
• Monday to Friday

• On-site in Alpharetta, GA
