Fortra is looking for a Product Marketing Lead with a background in cybersecurity software to help grow product line sales. In this role, you will prioritize and execute product marketing projects for optimal business impact. This role will support aspects of product marketing including sales enablement, competitive intelligence, analyst relations, product launches, and content marketing. You’ll work in tight partnership with our Marketing, Sales, and Product Management teams. This is a key member of the marketing team, delivering product-focused support that will drive continued growth for this product line.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Support the sales organization with marketing materials, sales presentations, sales tools, talking points, and other direct support to maximize their selling success
  • Help refine and develop engaging product positioning and messaging
  • Contribute product insights to campaign messaging and marketing content development for demand generation
  • Manage marketing deliverables for product launches to ensure maximum visibility and sales success
  • Maintain an active understanding of key competitors to optimize Fortra’s competitive positioning and to actively assist the sales organization in winning competitive deals
  • Help plan and execute analyst briefings and inquiries to nurture relationships with analyst firms and position us strategically in the market
  • Represent marketing at virtual and in-person events as needed
  • Other product marketing responsibilities as assigned .

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or related field.
  • Three to five years of marketing experience within a tech organization that spans digital marketing, events, and sales enablement.
  • Three to five years of experience with B2B software and cybersecurity preferred.
  • Demonstrated excellence in project management.
  • Strong time management skills and manages multiple priorities within tight time constraints.
  • Quick learner with technical aptitude
  • Uber collaborative with sales, pre-sales, marketing, and project management.
  • Do-what-it-takes mindset to execute against strategy and always help sales.
  • Excellent oral, written and presentation skills.
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and eager to have an impact on a rapidly growing organization.
