The Sales Operations Analyst will play a key role in supporting the sales team by managing data, analyzing performance metrics, and ensuring the seamless execution of sales processes. This role requires a blend of analytical skills, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of sales operations to drive business success.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Data Analysis and Reporting
- Collect, analyze, and interpret sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights to sales leadership.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and recommend strategies to enhance sales effectiveness.
Sales Process Optimization
- Assist in the design, implementation, and improvement of sales processes and workflows.
- Identify inefficiencies and propose solutions to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
- Ensure compliance with sales policies and procedures.
CRM and Systems Management
- Manage and maintain the accuracy of data within the CRM (e.g., Salesforce).
- Support the implementation and integration of sales tools and technologies.
- Troubleshoot system issues and provide user training and support as needed.
Forecasting and Planning
- Collaborate with sales leadership to develop accurate forecasts and pipeline analyses.
- Support territory planning, quota setting, and sales compensation processes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with marketing, finance, and product teams to align sales operations with broader company goals.
- Act as a liaison between sales teams and other departments to ensure seamless communication and execution.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in sales operations, business analysis, or a related field.
- Experience in the cybersecurity or technology sector is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and complex formulas).
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Familiarity with sales forecasting and pipeline management.
