Sales Operations Assistant

Gamma CAE Technologies Pvt Ltd, is a wholly-owned Indian subsidiary of Gamma Technologies, LLC located in Pune. The Indian subsidiary carries out the support, marketing, and sales operations for the Indian region. The parent company was established in 1994, and is headquartered in Westmont, Illinois (a suburb of Chicago).

Gamma Technologies develops, markets, and sells engineering simulation software called GT-SUITE. With roots in Automotive, nearly all the world’s leading automotive manufacturers leverage GT software. Our solutions help automotive companies build more fuel-efficient vehicles that get better gas mileage while reducing emissions without sacrificing vehicle performance. The move from traditional internal combustion engines (ICE) powered by gasoline or diesel fuel to electrified vehicles presents an enormous market opportunity for GT as our software allows Electrical Vehicle manufacturers and their suppliers, to design better vehicles with our software. Regulatory agencies globally have mandated that vehicle manufacturers reduce harmful environmental emission output, or they will face significant financial penalties and GT helps our clients meet these mandates. In addition to Automotive, GT serves the Aerospace, HVAC, and Marine industries by working with companies.

Position Summary

The Sales Operations Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the sales team by ensuring efficient processes and accurate data management. This position involves assisting with sales reporting, managing CRM systems, coordinating communication between departments, and providing administrative support to enhance overall sales productivity. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. This role is essential for driving sales performance and optimizing operational efficiency.

Job Responsibilities

  • Data entry and maintaining sales deals in salesforce for our Asia business.
  • Ensure sales opportunities and data in salesforce are up to date. Identify incoming data quality issues and raise consistency issues.
  • Identify discrepancy of sales/CRM vs accounting data and collecting missing information from the sales team/partners.
  • Be in contact with the different stakeholders (sales/partners, licensing, accounting) to ensure alignment.
  • Propose and implement processes changes for continuous workflow improvement.
  • Will work in close collaboration with our Head of India and Head of Sales Operations.

Education, Experience and Skills

Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Marketing, Business, or a closely connected field.
  • Prior experience with Salesforce is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience administering a CRM back-office system.
  • Experience in working with Microsoft Excel (large data sets, pivot tables, etc).
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and writing skills in English. Knowledge of Japanese is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to understand complex workflows with numerous players.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization, located in our offices worldwide
