Director of Business Systems

Gamma Technologies, LLC (GT) is looking for a Director of Business Systems with a solid work ethic, excellent judgment, and a desire to build a long-term career with us. This role will lead out Business Systems Team, ensuring that the many global teams with a stake I our systems are represented, and their needs are met.

Position Summary

We are seeking an innovative and strategic Director of Business Systems to join our team in a newly established role. As the first hire in this area, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and leading the development of our business systems function. This position offers a unique opportunity to build a team from the ground up, establishing best practices and driving transformation across our systems infrastructure. It is essential the incumbent possesses deep technical skills in our current business, development, and project management tools as well their respective integrations. These systems include, but are not limited to, Salesforce, Netsuite, ClickUp, Perforce, and Git as well as a variety of marketing and CLM systems.

Job Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and implement new applications, improve existing applications, and facilitate integrations between systems.
  • Manage executive-level communication and ensure that corporate objectives are met.
  • Establish relationships with key stakeholders in our organization to understand expectations and ensure needs are met at the appropriate priority.
  • Manage communication and prioritization of 3rd party resources for large-scale implementation work.
  • Establish key metrics that measure success of the team.
  • Define the future structure of the business systems team to align with the company’s needs and lead its execution.
  • Be a key player in acquisition onboarding, coordinating the transition/integration of applications used by the acquired company into GT’s systems.

Education, Experience and Skills

Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or a closely related field; in lieu of a degree, equivalent work experience in the Information Technology field would be acceptable.
  • At least five (5) to seven (7) years’ experience in the Information Technology field with a minimum of two (2) years of leadership or management experience, ideally in enterprise applications.
  • Capability to be hands-on experience with using, implementing, and maintaining business applications, e.g. Salesforce, NetSuite, Marketing, CLM, etc. systems.
  • Experience with using, implementing, and maintaining other systems (JIRA/ClickUp, Git/Perforce etc.).
  • Experience managing 3rd party resources, ensuring accountability and adherence to budget.
  • Ability of building a cohesive team and managing people effectively, including coaching and development.
  • Experience leading complex, cross-functional systems transformation initiatives such as implementing new core business systems, managing acquisition integrations, or other strategic projects that impact key stakeholders across the organization.
  • Outstanding communication skills with the ability to demonstrate empathy, accuracy, responsiveness, resourcefulness, and conscientiousness.
  • Excellent change management & project management skills, both of which are required in our fast-growing organization.
  • Knowledge of compliance requirements and information security.
