What You Will Do
As part of our Engine and Fuel Cell Applications Engineering Team, you will be tasked with ensuring our customers get the most out of our software suite and leveraging customer insights to continuously enhance our product offerings.
- Assist customers in their use of our software to design and simulate engine systems including:
- Charge Exchange
- Combustion & Emissions
- Acoustics
- Realtime modelling and virtual calibration.
- Use customer feedback and interactions to design and test new product features.
- Carry out proof-of-concept projects to demonstrate cutting-edge software solutions to prospective customers and support software evaluations.
- Interact with established and emerging automotive companies through training classes, conferences, and marketing events.
- Technical contributions to sales and marketing campaigns.
- Contribute to the development of the software by specification, validation, and testing of new features.
- Periodically travel to customer sites and industry trade shows, both domestically and internationally.
What You Will Bring
- A Master’s degree in engineering related field is required.
- Previous three years of industry experience is highly preferred.
- Professional and/or graduate-level experience with internal combustion engines design, analysis, and/or control (charge exchange, combustion, acoustics, thermodynamics).
- Experience with CAE tools, such as GT-SUITE, AVL BOOST, AVL CRUISE M or Ricardo WAVE.
- Programming skills (e.g. Python or MATLAB) are a plus.
- Self-starter and fast learner with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent proficiency in English and German, in both written and verbal communication.
