Machine Learning Application Engineer

Who We Are

GT, a leading multi-physics CAE simulation software provider, develops a suite of integrated solutions that guides and accelerates the engineering transformation of today’s products in the transportation, power generation, and industrial equipment industries.

At Gamma Technologies, our people are the driving force behind our success. We are looking for Machine Learning Application Engineer who shares our passion for authentic innovation, trusted partnerships, bold decisions and a relentless focus on customer success.

What You Will Do

You will support and evolve our Machine Learning capabilities in our MLA (Machine Learning Assistant) app. The MLA helps users train simulation results from GT-SUITE into ML-based metamodels, for rapid evaluation of different scenarios. Metamodel use cases range from optimization to fast-running surrogate models in “software in the loop” applications, all the way to offering extremely fast on-chip predictivity.

This role blends customer engagement, technical depth, and product management. You’ll work independently and collaboratively to drive innovation, solve complex challenges, and deliver impactful solutions in applied machine learning.

  • Lead customer engagements to understand needs and promote adoption
  • Translate customer insights into prioritized roadmap items and ensure delivery of high-impact solutions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to improve processes, expand capabilities, and support strategic and GTM initiatives
  • Provide expert support for GT’s machine learning applications, guiding customers through onboarding, evaluations, and usage
  • Conduct applied ML research and develop case studies across a range of modeling and analysis techniques
  • Create and deliver advanced training content and walkthroughs for internal and external audiences
  • Contribute to documentation and example libraries, including Python-based ML workflows and API extensions
  • Work with development team to manage implementation of features

What You Will Bring

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
  • Experience with ML tools such as Python libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch) and MathWorks (MATLAB, Simulink)
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage complex projects, and influence cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts into actionable insights.
  • Experience with CAE tools is preferred

What We Can Offer You

  • Competitive total rewards program with health and financial benefits (401K and profit sharing).
  • Flexible work options. This role will require you to be in the office 60% of the time.
  • Generous vacation, sick days, holidays and including parental leave.
  • Onsite fitness center.
  • Growth and development opportunities.
  • The expected annual base salary range for this role is $115,000 – $135,000. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

We’re an Equal Opportunity Employer, dedicated to creating an inclusive workplace for all.
