About the Role
As a Shift Lead at Gong Cha, you will support daily store operations while guiding team members to deliver exceptional customer service and high-quality bubble tea beverages. You will act as the lead on duty during assigned shifts, ensuring store standards, cleanliness, efficiency, and a positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Open and close the store following company procedures.
• Lead the team during shifts, ensuring smooth workflow and strong customer service.
• Greet customers, take orders, and operate the POS system accurately.
• Prepare and serve bubble tea and other menu items according to standard recipes.
• Ensure consistent drink quality, presentation, and food safety compliance.
• Manage inventory, including updating counts, restocking, and transferring items from the storage room.
• Assist with deliveries and tracking stock levels.
• Train new employees on procedures, recipes, safety, and customer service standards.
• Address customer concerns and support problem-solving on shift.
• Collaborate with management to maintain efficient, safe, and friendly operations.

Requirements

• Previous food & beverage or hospitality experience preferred.
• Leadership experience or supervisory skills are a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage shift responsibilities.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Basic math skills for cash handling.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn.
