Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, boba teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
• Operate POS systems to process orders accurately and efficiently
• Manage cash handling, cashiering, and basic retail math to ensure correct transactions
• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and addressing concerns promptly
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation areas and throughout the café
• Handle food handling responsibilities including food preparation, serving, and ensuring proper food safety protocols are followed
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers quickly while maintaining quality standards

Qualifications

• No prior barista experience or coffee experience necessary; enthusiasm for learning is required
• Familiarity with POS systems is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of food safety, food handling, and basic math for cash handling and retail transactions
• Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Experience in the food industry or retail math is advantageous but not required; a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are key
