We’re looking for a results-driven Area Manager to oversee multiple Gong cha locations in Boston and the South Shore area, starting with our Braintree store and expanding to new sites.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
Multi-Unit Leadership
- Oversee daily operations across multiple store locations
- Ensure consistency in execution, service, and brand standards
Team Development & Leadership
- Hire, train, and coach team members
- Build a strong leadership bench for future expansion
Sales & Performance Management
- Analyze KPIs (sales, labor, costs) and drive profitability
- Execute local marketing and promotional strategies
Operational Excellence
- Standardize processes across stores (staffing, scheduling, workflows)
- Ensure efficiency, consistency, and scalability
Customer Experience
- Maintain a high standard of service across all locations
- Resolve escalated customer concerns effectively
Inventory & Cost Control
- Oversee ordering, inventory, and waste reduction
- Manage labor and operational costs to hit targets
Compliance & Food Safety
- Ensure all stores meet health, safety, and cleanliness standards
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of management experience in food & beverage (bubble tea a plus)
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing through team leads
- Proven ability to drive sales and improve store performance
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Flexible schedule (evenings, weekends, holidays)
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between locations
Compensation
