Overview

As a Gong Cha Bubblerista, you will be the vibrant face of our brand, bringing energy and enthusiasm to every customer interaction. Your role is to prepare delicious non-alcoholic beverages, provide exceptional customer service, and ensure a clean, welcoming environment. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in food and beverage service within a dynamic team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve high-quality bubble teas and other non-alcoholic beverages according to company recipes and standards
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for retail sales transactions with accuracy and efficiency
• Deliver outstanding customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and answering questions about menu options
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and dining areas to meet food safety and sanitation standards
• Process cash transactions accurately, handle cash handling duties, and balance registers at shift end
• Assist in food handling tasks ensuring proper food safety practices are followed during beverage preparation
• Support team members during busy hours by managing multiple responsibilities with excellent time management skills

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or café environments preferred; barista experience is a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and enthusiastically
• Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and managing sales totals
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to stand for extended periods, work in a fast-paced environment, and multitask effectively
• Experience in beverage preparation or coffee service is highly desirable
